Abstrakty

W wielu krajach na świecie obserwuje się obecnie duże zainteresowanie tematyką zdrowia i jego ochrony, nie tylko ze strony nauki, ale również Światowej Organizacji Zdrowia (SOZ) oraz wielu organizacji międzynarodowych i takich jak: Rada Europy, Organizacja Współpracy Ekonomicznej i Roz- (OECD), Bank Światowy, rządów, różnych "grup interesów", a także ) go społeczeństwa. Rosnącemu zainteresowaniu towarzyszy ogromna a publikacji na ten temat. Jednocześnie problematyka ta przestała być wyłącznie obszarem zainteresowań medycyny, a stała się domeną różnych dyscyplin naukowych, dlatego wyniki podejmowanych analiz dotyczą często o wyspecjalizowanych zagadnień i są rozproszone w wielu publikacjach różnych dziedzin. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba usystematyzowania wiedzy na te- badań, a zwłaszcza pomiaru stanu zdrowia współczesnych populacji, uwzględniając dorobek badawczy demografii, epidemiologii, socjologii medycyny oraz ekonomiki ochrony zdrowia. Jednocześnie zagadnienia przedstawione w artykule wymagają szczególnej uwagi, ponieważ należą do nurtu zainteresowań nowo powstającej dziedziny - demografii zdrowia(abstrakt oryginalny)

Demographic changes and health progress in the last century led to remarkable changes of interests in health issues of researchers, different organizations and the society. They became interested not only in medical aspects of the health. More and more attention is given to the long life, especially to the long and healthy life. The article attempts to present the systematic approach to research on the health status of the contemporary population, particularly on measurement of the health, taking into account contributions from différents disciplines (demography, epidemiology, sociology of medicine, health care economics).
