Abstrakty

Internacjonalizacja stała się wyzwaniem i priorytetem strategicznym w działalności uczelni wyższych. W wymiarze indywidualnym chodzi o umiędzynarodowienie m.in. kadry akademickiej w formie ekspatriacji, czyli długoterminowych zagranicznych pobytów i staży naukowych. Celem tego artykułu było zaprezentowanie strukturalnego przeglądu badań dotyczących ekspatriacji akademickiej w ostatnich dwóch dekadach - z wykorzystaniem analizy bibliograficznej. Zastosowano procedurę mapowania naukowego oraz analizę bibliometryczną z wykorzystaniem technik ewaluacyjnej i relacyjnej, służących do badania związku pomiędzy danymi zamieszczonymi w publikacjach. Analiza ukazała, że problematyka ekspatriantów akademickich była badana w wielu kontekstach, między innymi nie tylko ich satysfakcji z pracy, motywacji, inteligencji kulturowej, ale także ich adaptacji, rozwoju kariery i rezultatów w pracy. Internationalization has become a challenge as well as a strategic priority among the activities of universities. In an individual dimension this means the internationalizing of academic staff through expatriation, i.e. long-term foreign stays and research internships. The aim of this article is to present a structured overview of research on academic expatriation over the last two decades using bibliographic analysis. The scientific mapping procedure and bibliometric analysis applying evaluation and relational techniques were used to study the relationship between the data included in the publications. The analysis showed that the subject of academic expatriates was studied in multiple contexts: their job satisfaction, motivation, cultural intelligence, as well as their adaptation, career development, and work performance.
