Subject and purpose of work: This study explores the specifics of strengthening Central Asian regional cooperation and its potential opportunities according to Hungary's Eastern Opening Policy. Materials and methods: A two-pronged approach was used to conduct this study, which included a comprehensive literature review of relevant academic publications on regional cooperation, as well as an examination of cooperation projects to identify specific characteristics. Results explicated using descriptive methodology for the analysis. Results: Central Asian regional integration differs from the traditional model, emphasizing the importance of historical factors and the strengthening of Turk ethnic identity as a foundation for unification efforts. Conclusions: Foreign economic engagement in Central Asia requires a continuous and assertive presence, along with the development of mutual trust due to the region's unique historical, cultural, and geopolitical context. These tendencies and intentions have been recognised by Hungarian foreign strategy - in line with the Eastern Opening Policy - with good sense and at a good pace. (original abstract)

Przedmiot i cel pracy: W niniejszym opracowaniu przeanalizowano specyfikę wzmacniania współpracy regionalnej w Azji Środkowej i jej potencjalne możliwości pod kątem węgierskiej Polityki Otwarcia na Wschód. Materiały i metody: Do przeprowadzenia niniejszego badania zastosowano podejście dwutorowe, które obejmowało kompleksowy przegląd literatury w postaci odpowiednich publikacji naukowych na temat współpracy regionalnej, a także analizę projektów współpracy w celu określenia ich konkretnych cech. Wyniki wyjaśniono przy użyciu opisowej metodologii analizy. Wyniki: Integracja regionalna Azji Środkowej różni się od tradycyjnego modelu, przy czym podkreślić należy znaczenie czynników historycznych i wzmocnienia tureckiej tożsamości etnicznej jako podstawy wysiłków zjednoczeniowych. Wnioski: Zaangażowanie gospodarcze państw zewnętrznych w Azji Środkowej wymaga ciągłej i zdecydowanej obecności, a także rozwoju wzajemnego zaufania ze względu na wyjątkowy kontekst historyczny, kulturowy i geopolityczny regionu. Te tendencje i zamiary uwzględnia węgierska strategia współpracy zagranicznej - zgodna z Polityką Otwarcia na Wschód - z rozsądkiem i w dobrym tempie. (abstrakt oryginalny)
