System wprowadzony przez dyrektywy drugiej generacji był z założenia systemem przejściowym. Był on jednocześnie bardziej liberalny od tego stworzonego przez dyrektywy koordynacyjne, lecz to, co było postępem względem pierwszego etapu tworzenia wspólnego rynku ubezpieczeń, było jednocześnie restrykcyjne z punktu widzenia celów wyznaczonych przez wspólnotowe prawo pierwotne(abstrakt oryginalny)
Insurance law of European Union has been developed for over 30 years. It is heading towards morę liberalisation of the market, which is in harmony with the generał tendency of European Union law. Directives of third generation are the succeeding stage of development directed for unification of an insurance market in Western Europę. Poland, as the country willing to be a member of European Union has to - in a time much shor- ter than other member countries - adjust its legał system to the regulations formed in "fifteen" This time should mobilize Polish insurance companies.(original abstract)
