Świadomość i świadome działanie to podstawowe charakterystyki człowieka. Opierając się na dorobku psychologii stwierdzić można, że świadomość jest całokształtem doświadczeń i procesów myślowych danej osoby w określonym momencie - jest zdolnością do zdawania sobie sprawy z tego co jest przedmiotem postrzegania i doznawania.(abstrakt oryginalny)
The consciousnees and the conscious activity are the basie features of human beings. An awereness of needs is psychological State of individuals, where they realize a tension caused by the lack of means which are necessary for living and selfdevelopment. The Insurance awareness is a differentiated value determined by the social forms of living and activity. It may assume a Iow level, even zero, not evoking a demand of extemal means of security. The high level of insurance awereness leads to appearence and raising a demand for ąualified security means, also other than insurance means. The ground for the decision of taking security means is a subjective estimation of realy obtained advantages from using particular forms of protection. The level of satisfaction of individuals or groups from insurance protection, how the obtained protection meets the expectation, is the basis for valuation. In discussions on the conditions of a development of Polish insurance market it is often said that there is a Iow insurance awareness in Poland and that it is the main, primary barrier for the further development of insurance services market.(original abstract)
