Sales using e-commerce and m-commerce sites are growing at an accelerating rate throughout the world and especially in Eastern Europe, where Poland is the leader in sales growth. As a result it is prudent to look at the latest trends in e-commerce and m-commerce. This article examines fifteen trends in e-commerce and m-commerce using three broad categories - trends in reaching and acquiring customers, trends used to keep customers, and trends impacting the e-commerce and m-commerce infrastructure. By recognizing the trends, businesses can react and have a greater opportunity to survive the crowded field of e-commerce and m-commerce. (original abstract)
