Tegoroczny Nobel w dziedzinie ekonomii dostarcza podwójnego zaskoczenia. Laureatką została amerykańska ekonomistka, profesorka Uniwersytetu Harvarda Claudia Goldin "za pogłębienie wiedzy na temat sytuacji kobiet na rynku pracy", a także podstawowych przyczyn różnic w wynagrodzeniach kobiet i mężczyzn.
