Abstrakty

W tej różnorodności spojrzeń na HIV/AIDS zabrakło jednak dotąd w literaturze polskiej odpowiedzi na pytania, które stają przed organizatorem, a także odbiorcą różnych form turystyki i wypoczynku zbiorowego. Działania niezbędne dla opanowania dróg szerzenia się zakażenia wirusem HIV i zapobiegania chorobie AIDS wymagają bowiem szerszego wachlarza metod, a nie tylko klasycznych środków sanitarno-higienicznych. Wynika to z specyfiki sposobów szerzenia się zakażenia. Dla ochrony przed tym zakażeniem niejednokrotnie konieczna jest weryfikacja postaw i zachowań poszczególnych osób, a także całych społeczeństw. Dla zachowania zdrowia nierzadko niezbędne są: analiza postaw i zachowań oraz idące za tym zmiany w systemie hierarchii wartości, przewartościowania kulturowo-obyczajowe, psychiczno-społeczne, a nawet ekonomiczne człowieka. Dotyczy to zwłaszcza ludzi młodych o rozbudzonych potrzebach seksualnych. (fragment tekstu)

This article presents different problems connected with HIV infection and AIDS disease. The biology and pathogenesis of HIV as well as the epidemiology of the illness have been shortly presented against the background of comparison with the history of spreading of the other contagious diseases. The author has described the ways of getting infected and the ways of behaviour which are espccially dangerous for spreading of the disease as well as the methods of destroying the virus in the habitat, the methods of preventing the infection and the laboratory diagnostic tests detecting the seropositive people. All the HIV/AIDS aspects mentioned above have been discussed in relation to the problems connected with organizing tourism and tourists' health protection. (original abstract)
