Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest szczegółowa analiza fuzji i prze-jęć zrealizowanych w sektorze energetycznym w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej i Polsce w latach 2015-2024. Badania miały na celu identyfikację głównych nabywców oraz określenie obszarów, w których najczęściej realizowane są transakcje. Dodatkowo analizą objęto ocenę skali transakcji w poszczególnych segmentach sektora energetycznego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem odnawialnych źródeł energii. Badania przeprowadzono na podstawie danych dotyczących transakcji M&A (mergers and acquisitions) dostępnych w bazie EMIS (Emerging Markets Information Service). Najważniejsze wnioski uzyskane z badań wskazują, że udział zielonych przejęć w sektorze energetycznym w krajach Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej i w Polsce jest bardzo wysoki, a przedmiotem zainteresowań inwestorów branżowych są odnawialne źródła energii, głównie projekty fotowoltaiczne i elektrownie wiatrowe. Te ustalenia pozwalają na lepsze zrozumienie trendów inwestycyjnych oraz ich wpływu na rozwój rynku energii w regionie.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The aim of this article was a detailed analysis of mergers and acquisitions carried out in the energy sector in Central and Eastern Europe and Poland in 2015-2024. The research aimed to identify the main buyers and determine the areas in which transactions are most often carried out. Additionally, the analysis included an assessment of the scale of transactions in individual segments of the energy sector, with particular emphasis on renewable energy sources. The research was conducted on the basis of data on M&A (mergers and acquisitions) transactions available in the EMIS (Emerging Markets Information Service) database. The most important conclusions obtained from the research indicate that the share of green acquisitions in the energy sector in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and in Poland is very high, and the interests of industry investors are renewable energy sources, mainly photovoltaic projects and wind farms. These findings allow for a better understanding of investment trends and their impact on the development of the energy market in the region.(original abstract)
