Abstrakty

W artykule podjęto temat dorobku badań nad transformacją oraz zmianami strukturalnymi w europejskim sektorze motoryzacyjnym, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem rynku niemieckiego. W opracowaniu sformułowano tezę, zgodnie z którą postępujące przemiany strukturalne w istotny sposób wpływają na kondycję i perspektywy rozwoju niemieckich koncernów motoryzacyjnych, co znajduje odzwierciedlenie w ich strategiach biznesowych oraz wynikach finansowych. Po przeprowadzeniu analizy stwierdzono, że postawiona teza została potwierdzona. Zidentyfikowane uwarunkowania wywierają presję na przedsiębiorstwa do intensyfikacji wydatków na działalność badawczo-rozwojową oraz wdrażanie innowacyjnych technologii. Jednocześnie niemieccy producenci zmagają się z wyzwaniami wynikającymi ze spadku wolumenów produkcji oraz obniżającej się produktywności, co dodatkowo komplikuje procesy transformacyjne w tym sektorze.(abstrakt oryginalny)

This study advances the academic discourse on transformation processes and structural changes within the European automotive industry, with a particular emphasis on the German market. The article formulates the thesis that ongoing structural transformations have a significant impact on the condition and development prospects of German car manufacturers, which is reflected in their business strategies and financial results. The analysis confirms this hypothesis. The identified factors exert pressure on companies to intensify spending on research and development as well as to implement innovative technologies. At the same time, German car manufacturers face challenges arising from declining production volumes and decreasing productivity, further constraining the sector's transformation processes.(original abstract)
