Abstrakty

Systemy Business Intelligence, nazywane systemami informacji zarządczej, odkrywają przed osobami podejmującymi decyzje, nieznaną dotąd i nieosiągalną innymi metodami, moc gromadzonych danych i pozyskiwanych z nich informacji. Dodatkową zaletą systemów Business Intelligence jest integracja rozwiązań analitycznoraportujących, umożliwiająca swobodną dystrybucję informacji zarządczej do wszystkich uprawnionych i zainteresowanych odbiorców. Business Intelligence nie jest jedynie technologią informatyczną, ale kompletną wizją funkcjonowania systemu informacji zarządczej w przedsiębiorstwie. Podstawową ideą Business Intelligence jest demokratyzacja dostępu do prawdziwej, kompletnej i aktualnej informacji, prowadząca do wzrostu efektywności działania na poziomie każdego stanowiska pracy oraz całej organizacji. Poniższy artykuł prezentuje definicję i architekturę systemu Business Intelligence, a także przykład rzeczywistego wdrożenia takiego systemu, zrealizowanego w międzynarodowej firmie telekomunikacyjnej. Together with changing market conditions, enterprises must react to these changes faster than at any time, taking appropriate business decisions on all management Ievels. It requires the excellent knowledge, relying on computer systems, of business processes and the close inspection of their realization. Operation individuals are able to react to appearing problems in a flash, only when they receive the complete, current and processed appropriately information just in time. In such a situation it's necessary to seek solutions, which could assure the free access to the management information in the real time and from the any place, where the decision is just making. Such solution is the Business Intelligence system, which is enabling integration of process of management with the realization of business processes of the enterprise, assuring the high effectiveness of making decisions. The presented article is describing definition and architecture of the Intelligence Business system, also problems and benefits from applying such solution in the real example of the implementation Business Intelligence system in the telecommunications company.
