Autorka opisuje strukturę organizacyjną i techniki nauczania Holenderskiego Instytutu Turystyki i Transportu w Bredzie. Jest to największa europejska wyższa szkoła zawodowa turystyki. Instytut ten podzielony jest na: wydział Turystyki i Rekreacji w Bredzie oraz Planowania Lokalnego i Transportu w Tilburgu. Instytut posiada również własną profesjonalną agencję podróży NWIT Travel. Zdaniem autorki Holenderski Instytut powinien stanowić przykład dla modelu kształcenia studentów w polskich wyższych szkołach zawodowych. W artykule przedstawione są również: program zajęć I roku studiów menedżerskich oraz program, cele i zakres zajęć ze specjalizacji zarządzanie turystyką międzynarodową i doradztwo.
The article describes the teaching systems of the Netherlands Institute of Tourism and Transport Studies (NHTV) in Breda. Origanisational structure along with the tasks of various departments and independent organisations within the NHTV are presented in the first part. Detailed curricula four managerial specialisation's, National Travel Guides studies, professional studies and tourism teachers: studies within the Department of Tourism and Recreation Studies in the NHTV are presented in the second part. The third part of the article presents teaching methods typical for the NHTV, aimed at the development of specific professional skills among the students. The need for continuos co-ordination of the teaching system with the changing needs of the travel trade is underlined. (original abstract)
