Abstrakty

Nasilająca się globalizacja na międzynarodowych i lokalnych rynkach oraz rosnące wymagania klientów sprawiają, że organizacje poszukują obecnie możliwości doskonalenia swoich systemów zarządzania w celu zwiększenia przewagi konkurencyjnej. Jednym ze sposobów na osiągnięcie tego stanu docelowego jest skupienie się na identyfikacji, optymalizacji i standaryzacji oraz ciągłym doskonaleniu realizowanych procesów operacyjnych. Podejście procesowe, jak pokazują wyniki badań, jest w dalszym ciągu jednym z głównych obszarów, które przedsiębiorstwa postrzegają jako kluczowe dla swojego rozwoju, a także jako sposób osiągania doskonałości operacyjnej. Rezultatem powyższych tendencji jest coraz większe zainteresowanie jednostek gospodarczych tzw. modelami oceny dojrzałości procesowej (Business Process Maturity Models - BPMM), które można ogólnie scharakteryzować jako zestawy zaleceń i dobrych praktyk w zakresie uzyskiwania sprawności operacyjnej realizowanych procesów. The article is aimed at presenting the principles of Business Process Maturity Models (BPMM). They can be identified as a set of recommendations and good practices in achieving operational efficiency of performed processes. When process approach is a paradigm and according to available research organizations are becoming process-centric, the BPMM's are beginning to be seen as the sources of sustainable competitive advantage and also a tool for obtaining operational excellence. As there is a very large number of documented maturity models the article also presents the results of literature study aiming at firstly identifying the existing models and secondly introducing their classification according to theoretical components recognized in the literature.
