Abstrakty

Dokumentacja w działach IT jest niezbędna do osiągnięcia założonych celów, tj. ochrony kapitału intelektualnego i ciągłości działania oraz poprawy przejrzystości i impulsu w projektach oraz działaniach. Niestety, specjaliści IT często lekceważą dokumentację, traktując ją jako "narzędzie krytyczne". Nie rozumieją wielu korzyści płynących ze skutecznej dokumentacji i ryzyka działania nieskutecznej dokumentacji. Działy IT nie mogą funkcjonować w ramach podejścia do dokumentacji na zasadzie kreowania, realizacji i oceny listy kontrolnej, zawierającej tworzone dokumenty. Firmy powinny stosować standard ponownego wykonania, aby zapewnić, że dokumentacja spełnia potrzeby organizacji. Przenoszenie firmy na optymalny poziom dokumentacji nie przychodzi z dnia na dzień, ale stanowcze przyjęcie procesu, zaangażowanie odpowiednich ludzi i budowanie odpowiedzialnej kultury wokół dokumentacji wzmacnia i rozwija potencjał działu IT. Dokumentacja na zoptymalizowanym poziomie jest więcej niż tylko dobrą praktyką jest strategiczną przewagą zespołu, działu IT i organizacji jako całości.(abstrakt oryginalny)

Documentation is essential for IT organizations to achieve their goals such as the protection of intellectual capital and business continuity and improvement of transparency and an impulse in projects and activities. Unfortunately, IT professionals often ignore the documentation regarding it as a critical tool. They do not understand numerous benefits of the effective functioning of the documentation and the risk of unsuccessful records. IT departments cannot function in the approach to the documentation on the basis of the creation, implementation and evaluation checklist that contains documents created. Companies should apply the re-performance standard to ensure that the documentation meets the needs of the organization. Moving to the optimum level of documents does not come overnight, but firm adoption of the process, involvement of people and building a culture of responsible documentation strengthens and develops the potential of IT department. Documentation on an optimized level is more than just a good idea, it is a strategic advantage of the team, the IT department and the organization as a whole.(original abstract)
