Abstrakty
Spółdzielczość w Polsce charakteryzuje się tradycją historyczną oraz widocznymi osiągnięciami społeczno-gospodarczymi. W artykule przedstawiono rozwój spółdzielczości obejmujący nowe zasady funkcjonowania na podstawie nowelizacji Prawa Spółdzielczego. W zakończeniu zaznaczono, że warto popierać spółdzielcze formy gospodarowania, ponieważ są one ważnym elementem infrastruktury gospodarki rynkowej.
Cooperative movement in Poland has had a long historical tradition and can boast significant achievements of economic and social nature. At present, in the market economy, its situation is very difficult as more than once it has been regarded as a relic of communism. To make such a comment and adhere to is totally wrong. The tradition of cooperative movement goes back to the 19th century. Cooperatives constitute part of the tradition that Poland needs also at the time of reforms. Cooperatives should not be capitalist in their nature, still they should be private property. The privatization of cooperatives by selling out their assets is a manifestation of total ignorance and will bring about chaos at a time when Poland needs economic progress and stability. To achieve progress and stability changes are needed at the very source - adjustment of organizational and managerial structures to the conditions of functioning in the market economy.
