Abstrakty

Problem dyskryminacji i tragicznej sytuacji życiowej osób niepełnosprawnych dostrzegany był przez wiele organizacji społecznych, ekonomicznych i politycznych, a także przedmiotem wielu międzynarodowych unormowań. Wśród tych wszystkich organizacji na czołowe miejsce wysuwa się ONZ. Autorka uznała, że wieloletnie działania ONZ na rzecz poprawy losu osób niepełnosprawnych warte są przypomnienia i przybliżenia.

Since the moment of its rise the United Nations Organization aimed at increasing the legal status and living conditions of all the social groups deprived in law and practice stressing that they are also entitled to all these privilages customary and obvious beneficiaries of which are strong and ruling groups. In reference to the right of the handicapped persons one can observe as if three directions of approaching them in the UNO acts. One can, thus, distinguish the acts concentrating not only on the handicapped persons but generally forbidding any discrimination (including also the discrimination of invalids), special acts dedicated to the right of the handicapped persons to equally participate in the social life and, as if were, thematic acts, concentrating on the problems of different aspects of rehabilitation.
