Usługi biznesowe stały się sektorem, który od kilku lat, mimo załamania gospodarczego i ostrożności inwestorów, notuje ciągły wzrost. Jest to sektor, w którym słaba infrastruktura drogowa w Polsce nie jest problemem, gdyż znacznie ważniejsze są kwalifikacje siły roboczej, rozwinięta infrastruktura telekomunikacyjna czy zasoby powierzchni biurowej. The countries of Central and Eastern Europe are still on the list of the most attractive locations for offshoring investment such as business services. Poland is distinguished in this group by dynamic growth market of modern business services, which increased by 50% in 2008-2010. We are the leader in terms of employment ahead of the Czech Republic and Hungary. Business services have become an industry which for several years despite the economic slump and caution investors recorded a continuous growth. The importance of this section in the structure of FDI inflows was negligible in the second half of 90's, and its share in the accumulated FDI amounted to 2.2%. Later, however, inflows of foreign direct investment to this section have increased considerably, reaching a maximum in 2006. The value of investment inflows increased from 216 million euros in 1997 to 2 068 million in 2009. The accumulated value of these investments (FDI stock) in 2009 amounted to 13 billion, which accounted for more than 10% of the total FDI in Poland and 17.4% of FDI in services. Business services is a sector where poor road infrastructure in Poland is not a problem, because far more important are the qualifications of the workforce, developed infrastructure and telecommunications resources of office space. Moreover, Poland is for investors from Western Europe an attractive market, not only because of the availability of skilled labor, foreign languages, labor costs lower than in developed countries, but also because of the proximity of the market and the cultural similarities which foster the cooperation.
