Abstrakty

W artykule podjęto się próby całościowego ujęcia problematyki rynków papierów wartościowych w krajach Unii Europejskiej. Wyodrębniono w nim podstawowe zasady funkcjonowania europejskich rynków papierów wartościowych. Dokonano charakterystyki poszczególnych rynków narodowych, kładąc szczególny nacisk na opis procesów integracyjnych, organizację rynku, a także charakterystykę uczestników rynków narodowych. Przedstawiono również kierunki rozwoju rynków papierów wartościowych w krajach Unii Europejskiej podkreślając konieczność ich unifikacji. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The author of the paper undertakes to provide a comprehensive overview of the issues relating to securities markets in EU countries. Following a discussion of the fundamental goveming principles of the European securities markets, the author presents the characteristics of each national market, with a focus on the integration processes underway and the key organizational properties of each market; the author also attempts a description of the major players on the national markets. While trying to project the evolution trends in the securities markets of the EU countries, the author emphasizes the need for uniformization. (original abstract)
