Abstrakty
Przedstawiono sposób obliczania wskaźników rentowności i czynniki kształtujące ich poziom. Zdaniem autorki należy w znacznie szerszym niż dotychczas stopniu wykorzystywać wskaźniki rentowności do zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem, zwłaszcza do sterowania wybranymi elementami jego gospodarki finansowej. Wskaźniki te mogą być wykorzystane do wytyczania sposobów i źródeł zasilania kapitałowego firmy oraz do wyznaczania tempa jej rozwoju.
The paper presents a way of using the indices of profitability in business management. The method of calculating the profitability indices brings about certain controversies. Starting with the calculation elements the author attempts to show, in a systematized way, the methods of calculating these indices and the factors shaping their levels. These indices and the relations determined on the basis of their calculation elements can be used for planning total capital requirements. When determining the rate of business development it is advisable to make use of the relations concerning the structure of capital and the effectiveness of the assets of the firm. Disregard of these relations when determining the rate of development results in a greater sensitivity concerning decision making and increased disinclination for risk, and smaller profitability and possibilities of supplying development means with own capital.(original abstract)
