Omówiono zadania rachunku kosztów, a następnie przedstawiono kryteria klasyfikacji i terminologię jego systemów oraz podstawowe zasady rachunkowości kontynuujące rachunek kosztów.

The paper summarizes a classification of various cost accounting systems. It identifiers four different classification criteria against which the various properties of cost accounting systems can be evaluated. Additionally to such classification, the paper provides a description of basic principles of financial accounting which constitute cost account in valuation for the balance sheet.
