Abstrakty

W pracy przedstawiona została problematyka wprowadzania do procesu nauczania elementów edukacji wirtualnej. Przewiduje się, że opisana w pracy metodologia i narzędzia programowe do generowania komputerowych testów nauczająco-sprawdzających stanowić będzie ważny moduł w budowanym portalu edukacyjnym. Zapewni on możliwość tworzenia testów z różnych przedmiotów, łatwość modyfikacji treści pytań sprawdzających, a także oszczędność czasu nauczyciela akademickiego. W rezultacie wpłynęłoby to również na obniżenie kosztów kształcenia.

This paper presents a new method that allows and encourages independent and individual distance learning. Students who choose this method will be able to practice their knowledge with the help of a computer programme that uses information stored in databases (one or several) in order to generates exam tests through random selection of tasks and questions from the databases. Each database contains problems related to a particular section of a given subject. For the purpose of this study, several bases were created for fourth-year computer science students in the subject of Artificial Intelligence taught in the Polytechnic Institute in Krosno. In the process of learning, the student may choose to practice knowledge related to the whole subject or to a particular section of material. Each exercise or question has a given value in points, depending on its level of difficulty. When the programme is set on the learning/training mode, the student is able to use the help option that provides explanation regarding correct and incorrect answers to the test questions. The help option is deactivated when the programme is in the testing mode. The programme is equipped with an editor, which allows for constant updating and extension of the content and the number of databases, which is particularly important in computer science - one of the most rapidly growing fields of science.
