Abstrakty

W artykule podjęto próbę oceny metodą taksonomii struktur, zmian struktur gałęziowych przemysłów przetwórczych NRD i RFN wyrażonych miernikiem struktury wartości dodanej oraz zatrudnienia. Badania miały na celu stwierdzenie, czy i w jakim stopniu różne były struktury obu krajów w chwili ich zjednoczenia, oraz w jakich warunkach dokonywały się przemiany strukturalne w latach osiemdziesiątych.

Studies on the structural changes in industry make it possible to determine the changes in its structure in time, and the differences in the structures of various objects at fixed moments of time. A more detailed knowledge of the dynamics and directions of changes in the industrial structures can be gained thanks to the application of statistical methods of studying the variability of structures and similarities between them. The paper is an attempt to evaluate the changes in the structures of basic processing industries of German Democratic Republic and Federal Republic of Germany, expressed in measures of the value added and employment structures. The performed studies and the presented results aim at giving the answer about the difference and the degree of difference between the structures of both the countries at the time of their unification, and about the directions of the structural changes in industry of the compared countries in 1980 s. The results of such studies, apart from their cognitive value, can be a basis for further, more detailed analyses and a more thorough evaluation. (original abstract)
