The main aim of this article is to show basic problems connected with placement and application knowledge management in Management Support Systems. In the beginning fundamental definitions and activities are discussed. Next, knowledge management role and place in architecture of MSS is analyzed. In the last part of the article general directions of knowledge management development in selected decision support systems are introduced.
