The economy of the 21st century is characterized by dynamism, volatility as well as uncertainty and risk. Rapidly changing conditions of competition in local and global environment have caused the need for active, pro-creative and pro-innovative behavior of business entities. Creative process, rarely happens in isolation. This is usually the result of interactions among people in a particular community. However, some people are better able to combine elements from different fields of knowledge to create added value. To effectively generate creativity, communities should be geared towards increasing efficiency through diversity. Also spatial diversity is not indifferent to strengthening the effect of creativity. The aim of the paper is cognitive, theoretical and methodological considerations on the determinants of development of social and spatial diversity and its influence on the creative sector. The analysis used the methods of document testing: analog and heuristic and interviews(original abstract)
