Abstrakty

W opracowaniu autor bada zmiany zachodzące w obrębie systemów wartości. Skupia się głównie na czynnikach warunkujących percepcję zmian. Wyróżnia cztery rodzaje możliwych zmian: zmiana modelu zachowania, zmiana poziomu społecznej aprobaty, pojawienie się nowych zwyczajów oraz zniknięcie dotychczas istniejących obyczajów i przyzwyczajeń.

In this article, the author examines the changes that occur in customs and habits, taking into account in particular those factors which condition our perception of changes in this context. The problems involved in the perception of changes in customs and habits concern both academic discourse and everyday attitudes. The author distinguishes four kinds of possible change: changes in models of behaviour, changes in social approval, the appearance of new customs and habits, and the disappearance of hitherto existing customs and habits. The author endeavours to explain how changes in customs and habits are evaluated, and addresses the problem of researching changes of which members of social communities are unaware. The author identifies particular stages in the process of change affecting customs and habits. he also discusses a number of characteristic features of changes in customs and habits that occur in contemporary societies.
