Przedmiotem opracowania jest rozpatrzenie możliwości i zagrożeń (wraz z analizą obszarów zagrożeń) działalności gospodarczych podejmowanych przez osoby fizyczne. Ma to na celu określenie ich potencjalnych szans rozwoju i warunków, które muszą być spełnione, aby odniosły sukces rynkowy. Rozważania dotyczą osób fizycznych podejmujących lub prowadzących już działalność gospodarczą.
Small and medium size firms play a significant role in the economic growth of most countries. This particularly refers to individuals carrying out economic activity. Domestic economic statistics confirm their growing number of differentiation in particular economic sectors. The nature of activities undertaken by individuals stimulates rendering of services and non-typical production which requires individual efforts and ideas for products and conditions of their accessibility. Market efficiency of these entities is defined by their enterpreneurship, ideas for products and their range, their diversification as compared to competitive products, product quality, accessibility, flexibility in response to customers preferences and expectations. If individuals carrying out economic activity are to find market opportunities they should monitor the market and have adequate information when making decisions as to their expansion. In the country's economy there exist opportunities for intensive development of activities undertaken by individuals.(original abstract)
