Abstrakty

W artykule przeprowadzono analizę procesu przekształceń w budownictwie w latach 1990-1998. Wykazano, znaczny rozwój sektora prywatnego: zakłady osób fizycznych, spółki prawa handlowego i cywilnego, spółki publiczne, przedsiębiorstwa zagraniczne i holdingi. Równocześnie podkreślono zmniejszanie się udziału sektora państwowego w produkcji budowlanej.

The ten years of transformation of Poland's economic system suggest the need for an analysis and evaluation of the effects of this transformation. In the present study, the author focuses on the changes that have taken place in the construction industry. The author analyses the changes that have taken place in the construction sector since the beginning of the 1990s. He pays particular attention to changes in the network of construction enterprises, the level and dynamics of production, building stock in the construction sector, the commercialisation and privatisation of construction enterprises, the level and structure of unemployment in the construction sector, the financial and economic situation of construction enterprises, and the new technologies used in this period. The basic information source used in the analysis of these changes was officially published statistical data. these were affected, however, by the change in the system of recording data from KGN to EKD, and by currency denomination and inflationary processes. Moreover, the official statistical reporting by enterprises in this sector was limited. For these reasons, therefore, we should reconcile ourselves to the fact that the material presented in this article has limited cognitive value. (original abstract)
