Abstrakty

Celem niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie wyników analizy najważniejszych parametrów opisujących właśnie strukturę polskiego rolnictwa, tak by wskazać na najistotniejsze tendencje występujące po akcesji Polski do Wspólnoty. Wykorzystaną metodą badawczą jest przede wszystkim analiza danych statystycznych z lat 2004-2009, w pewnym stopniu wspomagana przez analizę literatury.(fragment tekstu)

Integration, and in particular Poland's accession to European structures, has become a strong incentive of structural changes in the domestic agriculture. To indicate their nature and direction, there was used an analysis of selected indicators, such as GDP generated by agriculture or the level of employment in this sector of the economy. Especially noteworthy is the reduction in the number of individual farms (mainly the smallest ones) and the rise in the importance of the largest ones. The phenomenon of area structure polarisation has remained. In addition, the average size of a private farm has slightly increased. The distance between its dimension in Poland and in most EU countries remains significant. As to the production of domestic agriculture, among many positive changes resulting from the integration with the EU, such as improvement of agricultural commodities' quality or considerable progress in the mechanisation, one can indicate higher importance of market production and the modification of volumes and trends in agricultural manufacture. The latter are conditioned to a large extent by the regulations of the Common Agricultural Policy. (original abstract)
