Wspólnota losu - przeciw obojętności ukazana jest ewolucja podmiotowości w trzech komplementarnych zakresach; w pracy jednostki nad własnym charakterem, w realizacji permanentnej samoedukacji na szerokich obszarach życia oraz w działaniu na rzecz wzajemnych powiązań między jednostkowym światem człowieka a społecznym universum. After Arab Spring many hopes were dashed. However historical change must be happening now in the area of social awareness. The rise of extremism limits awareness and also endangers the Arab identity. The Arab revolution has to be more than the overthrowing of dictators. Bennabi created the concept of Post- Almohad Man and its "Colonsability" - a tendency to be colonized which allows the aggressor to be transformed into the colonizer. Is Bennabi's theory applicable to Iraq? Should killing a Post- Almohad Man be the aim, as Bennabi postulated, and only this will allow society to develop? Although Bennabi rather had in mind liberation from auto-stereotype and reconstruction of identity, many still interpret his words literally.(original abstract)

The Tale is a short story by Joseph Conrad. Typical of a Conrad story it is set at sea. The sea is symbolic of the unconscious and this story may be read as a story of the unconscious. On the outside, it seems simple; a man tells a woman a tale of the commanding officer of a patrol ship who gives false directions to another ship and sends it to its doom. In between the lines of the seemingly simple plot, however, can be read another tale; one which speaks of a human sea deeper than the sea of water; deeper, darker, and infinitely more mysterious. Man has navigated the sea of water but the unfathomed sea of his own being remains, for the most part, undiscovered. This is a sea different from the sea of this world and Conrad sets sail on it by telling a tale from another world. Sailing with Conrad, the reader can look out on the infinite vastness and try to form a picture of the infinite depth of a sea which is not visible to the human eye. (original abstract)

Badania pokazują, że w odpowiednich warunkach nawet wymuszona autoprezentacja może doprowadzić do zmian w samowiedzy. Ważną rolę w tej relacji odgrywa kilka czynników, w tym m.in. poziom samoświadomości. Celem eksperymentu było sprawdzenie, czy dojdzie do zmiany percepcji siebie w kierunku zgodnym z narzuconą autoprezentacją podczas podejmowania decyzji w grze "dyktator" (DG). Badani zostali poproszeni o to, aby podczas gry zachowywali się (1) jak osoby altruistyczne (cecha powiązana z zachowaniem w DG), (2) jak osoby komunikatywne (cecha niepowiązana z zachowaniem w DG), (3) naturalnie (grupa kontrolna). Wyniki pokazały, że osoby z grupy altruizmu w pomiarze dokonywanym po zakończeniu badania oceniały się jako najbardziej altruistyczne w porównaniu z osobami z pozostałych grup. Internalizacja cechy była tym silniejsza, im bardziej nasilone było wcześniejsze zachowanie prospołeczne. Wykazano także, że internalizacja cechy była tym silniejsza, im wyższy był poziom samoświadomości publicznej. Wyniki te wskazują na istotną rolę samoświadomości w kontekście zmian w percepcji siebie zgodnej z dokonaną autoprezentacją. (abstrakt oryginalny)

This paper has investigated the importance of spiritual and emotional quotient in reinforcing the values of Islamic ethics. The development of good character in Islam is the process of encountering with individual feelings that contributes to the creation of and support of good and proper feelings such as forgiveness, compassion, love, generosity, and courage and fights against negative feelings such as envy, anger, selfishness and dastardliness and suppresses them. Character-making should do many works with patience and persistence in controlling feelings resulting in negative dimensions and reinforcing feelings resulting in positive ethics. Employing and controlling feelings will result in training deserved ethics. In addition, it leads a healthy spiritual and psychic life. New research show that individuals who reinforce their own spiritual motivations and have developed their own emotional quotient, are more inclined to achieve competitive advantage than those who have not this intelligence. The main objective of this research is to investigate a new field in modern psychology including emotional quotient and spiritual quotient that is aimed at whether new psychological approaches and positive findings of studying human emotions and feelings can contribute to the Islamic ethics or not(original abstract)

Objective: This study aims to understand the interrelationship between customer experience, self-congruity, and customer loyalty in the fashion industry. Previous studies have examined the direct effect of self-congruity on loyalty without taking into account the factor of customers' shopping experience, which may moderate customers' impression of a fashion. Research Design & Methods: This study employed questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. Collected data was processed using PLS-SEM. The target respondents were between 18-30 years old. Individuals in that age band have dynamic dressing styles, so interesting to study. In the present study, the data from the respondents was processed in order to determine the inner model, the outer model, and hypothesis testing. Findings: The results of this study suggest that customer experience plays a significant role in moderating the effect of self-congruity on customer loyalty. This means that even though customers feel comfortable with a store's image, however if they have bad experience, such experience may cause these customers not to be loyal. Implications & Recommendations: Research reveals that consumers are very concerned towards their experience when shopping. Stores should provide service that can make their customers feel comfortable and pleased. Contribution & Value Added: This study provides new insights into attempts to maintain customer loyalty. Several research was studied on self-congruity and loyalty, yet this is the first study that depict how experience moderating self-congruity towards loyalty. (original abstract)

The article presents the possible role of consciousness in quantum-mechanical description of physical reality. The widely spread interpretations of quantum phenomena are considered as indicating the apparent connection between conscious processes (such as observation) and the properties of the microcosm. The reasons for discrepancies between the results of observations of the microcosm and macrocosm and the potential association of consciousness with these reasons are closely investigated. The mentioned connection is meant to be interpreted in the sense that the probable requirement for a complete understanding of quantum theory is the adequate description of consciousness within it and that the correct theory of consciousness should include quantum-mechanical theoretical apparatus. In this context, the question about the methods of scientific cognition is discussed, in particular, the problem of the place and the importance of intellectual intuition in science and philosophy of science. This article demonstrates that certain issues of philosophy of mind can only be explained via strict observance of the logical law of identity, that is, use of the term "consciousness" in only one meaning. Based on the understanding of consciousness as space in which objects distinguished by the subject are represented, this article considers problems such as the fixation of the consciousness level, correlation between consciousness and thought, between the internal and the external, and between consciousness and the body. It demonstrates the insufficiency of the reactive conception of action for the resolution of the hard problem of consciousness and the necessity of a transition to an active paradigm in which many issues in philosophy of mind would be formulated differently. Scientific, objective approach to consciousness has allowed to obtain some experimental data concerning brain activity, ignoring, however, the longstanding philosophical tradition. Spectacular development of neuroscience which has been observed recently made this dissonance particularly noticeable. The paper addresses the main problems of discrepancy between neurobiological research and philosophical perspective. Current opinions concerning neural correlates and models of consciousness are discussed, as well as the problems of working memory, attention, self, and disorders of consciousness. A new neurobiological approach to describe brain function in terms of brain connectivity (so-called connectome) is also presented. Finally, the need to introduce at least some aspects of philosophical approach directly into neurobiological research of consciousness is postulated. (original abstract)

Szkolenie zawodowe to dla studentów sytuacja potencjalnie refleksyjna, w której szczególnie ważna jest samoanaliza i samoocena, praca nad swoim "autoportretem". Autorka analizuje rozwój naukowego rozumienia charakteru refleksji, pojętej jako mechanizm psychologiczny odnoszący się do egzystencji psychicznej i tożsamości jednostki na wyższych stadiach jej osobistego rozwoju. Autorka dowodzi, że w kontekście wyznaczania sobie celów uaktywniają się aspekty działania odnoszące się zarówno do zasadniczej zmiany danej sytuacji, jak i do transformacji personalnej. Analizuje pojęcie "sytuacji refleksyjnej", która obejmuje uwarunkowania zewnętrzne i wewnętrzne, determinujące proces uświadamiania siebie, poprzez introspekcję i samopoznanie, proces, który odbywa się w określonym kontekście emocjonalnym. Autorka konkluduje, że wynikiem refleksji mogą być zmiany w dynamicznym systemie samoświadomości, na który składają się stałe i zmienne elementy "koncepcji ja" i samoidentyfikacji. Ponadto, autorka stwierdza, iż celem technik szkoleniowych jest wykształcenie w studentach - przyszłych menedżerach - zdolności do refleksji, profesjonalnej samoregulacji, opierającej się na zasadzie "sytuacji refleksyjnej" oraz umiejętności przeprowadzania dialogów refleksyjnych, profesjonalnych konsultacji psychologicznych. W artykule wskazano główne zadania technik szkoleniowych, które przyczyniają się do wykształcenia profesjonalnych umiejętności u studentów. (abstrakt oryginalny)
