Przedstawiono ogólne cele polityki podstawowych instrumentów marketingu-mix, takie jak: polityka kształtowania produktu, jego cen, oraz dystrybucji i promocji.

In the article "Possibility of Application of Marketing Mix in Farms' Management" the author discusses the present situation of farms in the market stressing the necessity of making use of the instruments of marketing. The changes taking place in farms' economy, which result from the transition from the centrally planned to the market economy, call for the adjustment to the new economic conditions. The process of adaptation requires an elaboration of marketing strategies of farms' functioning which will allow for such instruments of marketing mix as: product, price, distribution, promotion. The author presents all these instruments in a general way and demonstrates how they can be used in farm management. The specific nature of the particular product as well as biological conditions of production were allowed for while discussing each marketing instrument. (original abstract)
