The big reduction in the number of cooperation from between Lower Silesia and Saxony border areas has taken place during the last two years. It has been refered especially to the limitation in youth vacation exchange, trade exchange, cooperation on labour market, cultural exchange and scientific contacts. The restitution of market eonomy on both border sides extorts the necessity of creation of new cross-border cooperation plans. An institutional base could be actually forming the Euregio "Nysa".
