Przedmiotem artykułu jest konieczność uświadomienia potrzeby i roli przedsiębiorczości w zarządzaniu przedsiębiorstwem.

When the terms "management" and "entrepreneurship" are treated jointly a new quality is created. Taken together they decide about the success of an enterprise. As a business expands there occurs a trend of the domination of bureaucracy over innovations. This may be dangerous because it may lead to the decline of an enterprise. The essence of entrepreneurship should be perceived not so much as the establishment of new enterprises but as the broadly understood process of the creation of new products and services in order to boost demand. Entrepreneurship provides economy with the indispensable dynamics. Enterprises which are badly managed and which are ineffective are eliminated. Only businesses which are innovative have the chance of succeeding. (original abstract)
