Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest analiza założeń teoretycznych, zasad metodycznych i zakresu strategicznej diagnozy gospodarki regionalnej. Przedstawiono główne elementy strategii rozwoju regionalnego i procedurę jej budowy, oraz elementy diagnozy gospodarki regionu tj. analizę problemów, działalności i zasobów. Następnie omówiono metodykę strategicznej diagnozy gospodarki regionalnej - zastosowanie podstawowych metod analizy strategicznej tj. analizy SWOT i TOWS.

The aim of the paper is to present theoretical and methodical assumptions and the subject-matter of the strategic diagnosis of the regional economy under the conditions of promarket transformation. The idea of the development strategy of a region and the specificity of the strategic diagnosis of the regional economy are discussed. It is suggested to adapt the methodology of strategic planning - SWOT for diagnosing the regional economy. The combination of strategic planning and classical diagnosis of the regional economy makes a new quality that is especially helpful at the time of economy transformations. According to that new methodology the criteria of primary and supplementary delimitations as well as of those subject to economic and social functions of a region are discussed and the essentials of the strategic diagnosis of the regional economy are presented.(original abstract)
