Abstrakty

Procesowi wdrażania, na terenach rezerwatów biosfery, zasad ekorozwoju, towarzyszą określone zmiany i przekształcenia. W artykule przedstawiono, towarzyszące tym zmianom, wielokierukowe konsekwencje: ekonomiczne (gospodarka), społeczne (społeczeństwo) i ekologiczne (środowisko), w aspekcie kosztów i korzyści wywołanych przez ekorozwój. Autorka jest zdania, że wyniki przeprowzdzonych badań mogą okazać się pomocne w podjęciu decyzji o inwestowaniu lub też nie na obszarze rezerwatów biosfery.

Biosphere Reserve is an area in which the traditional preservation approach to environment protection is tried to be accomplished. Such an approach should be changed. That is why the goal of the Biosphere Reserves should be based on searching for environment friendly forms of utilising these resources for the surrounding community. One pof the main goals of the Biosphere Reserves is a joint effort among sectors in searching a way to utilise the natural resources for the good of the community and to preserve them for future generations. The crucial development potential can be certainly found in the areas of Biosphere Reserves. This is where it is possible to run economic activity which could affect the improvement of environment condition. An environmental protection involves implementing and running a sensible policy of miltidirectional management concerning the Biosphere Reserves, as well. This policy should be a fundamental element of the appropriate use of natural resources. Implementing the concept of sustainable development in the area of Biosphere Reserves can initialise certain processes of economic, social and ecological changes. We can study them considering the cost and benefist of sustainable development to Biosphere Reserves. The study results may contribute to making a decision about the investment in the area of Biosphere Reserves. (original abstract)
