Przedmiotem opracowania jest analiza zmian (zakresu i kierunków) struktury w przekroju działowo-sektorowym gospodarki 9 województw Polski południowo-wschodniej w okresie 1989-1993. Przedstawiono strukturę i dynamikę tych zmian.

The article deals with the economic structure of the voivodships of south-east Poland taking branches of the national economy and sectors of activity (sector I, II, III) into consideration. The research covered The following voivodships: bielskie, kieleckie, krakowskie, krośnieńskie, nowosdeckie, przemyskie, rzeszowskie, tarnobrzeskie, tarnowskie. The train goal of the paper is the determination of the range and directions of changes in the structural cross-sections of the economy (branch, sector) of the above mentioned voivodships. The main methodological instrument of the research is a comparative analysis conducted in time (1989-1993) and space focusing on the differences observed between particular voivodships. The author worked on the principle that an important point of reference would he the occurrences and processes taking place on the entire territory of south-east Poland and in the entire country.(original abstract)
