Abstrakty
Transport wywiera znaczny wpływ na procesy integracyjne krajów Europy, również sam musi się dostosować do tych procesów. Autor omówił przesłanki decydujące o przebiegu integracji przestrzeni - w szczególności w świetle Dyrektywy z 1991 roku określającej wymogi wobec kolei państw Unii. Przedstawił stan sieci kolejowych krajów europejskich, rolę transportu kolejowego w integracji przestrzeni Europy i perspektywy przemian infrastruktury technicznej kolei w Polsce.
The present structure of the economy of European countries and the transformations it is undergoing assign transport, including rail transport, precise tasks in following the principles of integration links. Integration depends on many premises of organizational, economic and technical nature and their implementation must additionally be subordinated to the programmes of economic growth of individual states, particularly member countries of the EU and former Comecon. These considerations actually decide about the volume of cargo and passenger flow reflecting the production - spatial links. The process of establishing these links in European countries is undergoing some changes due to the new market conditions and economic transformations. The transformations will lead to the development and change in the intensity of the integration processes which provide a basis for the formation of new links and, in consequence, economic agreements.(original abstract)
