Spółka typu "partnership" jest specyficzna dla prawa anglosaskiego. Stanowi konglomerat różnych typów spółek. Posiada cechy spółki cywilnej i handlowej. Bardzo szeroko ujęte są także zasady praw i obowiązków wspólników.

Ordinary company of the partnership kind is considered in the Anglo-Saxon law to be a model of personal company. One may even be tempted to claim that this company model in the Anglo-Saxon law is the equivalent of the existing in the Polish law civil and ordinary company taken together. Some selected aspects of partnership are presented to make the reader more familiar with this type of company. Attention should be drawn to the range of the rights and obligations of partners in this kind of company - one can easily notice the far reaching similarities with models of personal companies existing in the law of European countries including Poland.(original abstract)
