Abstrakty
Przedstawiono znaczenie sektora prywatnego w gospodarce polskiej, zatrudnienie, szanse i zagrożenia przedsiębiorczości. Przeanalizowano wyniki ankiety przeprowadzonej wśród właścicieli 176 przedsiębiorstw prywatnych południowo-wschodniej Polski dotyczącej czynników wspomagających i hamujących rozwój przedsiębiorczości w Polsce.
In the article the author describes factors affecting the development of entrepreneurship in Poland in the period of the transformation of its economic system. The author presents a description of the private sector and discusses problems faced by entrepreneurs. Also, the author presents an analysis of statistical data describing the dynamics of change of economic parameters and magnitudes for the years 1990-1993 (namely the number of businesses, number of people employed in the private sector and the volume of the gross product generated by private enterprises). In the second part of the article there are presented the results of the research conducted in 1994 in small and medium-size private enterprises in the South-Eastern region of Poland. The research concentrated on the identification of factors favouring the expansion of entrepreneurship, prospects and factors that hinder entrepreneurship as they are seen by respondents, who were Polish entrepreneurs. The results of the analysis - prospects and dangers of entrepreneurship and their grading are presented at the end of the article in the form of tables accompanied by notes. (original abstract)
