Abstrakty

W artykule omówiono problemy metodologiczne związane z krótkookresowym rachunkiem wyników. Rozważania autora dotyczą takich zagadnień jak istota i cele krótkookresowego rachunku wyników, relacje między rachunkiem kosztów i rocznym rachunkiem wyników a krótkookresowym rachunkiem wyników, drogi przyspieszenia krótkookresowego rachunku wyników.

The paper deals with the major methodological issues of producing a short-term Income statement which should be a basic instrument in a decision-making process in the market economy. Up till now these problems have not at all been tackled in Poland. In the paper the author pointed out the objectives and range of a short-term income statement, its relation to an annual income statement and to cost account as well as differences that may occur and result from dealing with distinct branches of the economy. The paper is concluded with the presentation of methods leading to the acceleration of producing a short- term income statement, making use of various estimations of some elements of income.
