Changes in the Mutual Relations of the Private and Public Sectors in the Light of Overall System Transformations in the National Economy

Abstrakty
Przedmiotem artykułu jest analiza wzajemych relacji pomiędzy sektorem prywatnym i publicznym: zmiany w liczbie podmiotów gospodarczych, przychody i wynik finansowy brutto, PKB, produkcję sprzedaną, zatrudnienie, środki trwałe, inwestycje, strukturę eksportu i importu oraz wyniki ekonomiczne finansowe.
The initiated in 1990 process of structural changes in the Polish economy has spread over numerous areas both as regards economic and social life. The ongoing processes of adjustment and structural changes taking place in enterprises should be focused upon as the those of greatest complexity and significance. There has been a significant change in the relations between the public sector embracing the state property, the municipal property and the mixed ownership property with dominating state element and the private sector which encompasses the national private property, foreign property and mixed with private capital domination. Thus, it is important to define the changes in the position of the two sectors not only from the point of view of the number of operations but also their performance, assets, number of employees and volume of outlays. One should also take into consideration financial performance, profitability and liquidity indicators characterizing the private and public sector and pertinent changes. (original abstract)
