Abstrakty
The article lists errors the top management has made in the decision-making process. To avoid them, according to the author, one has to be aware that, firstly, problems faced by a firm are not necessarily clear, correct and well defined. Secondly, an individual problem may not be a direct result of merely one cause. Thirdly, while analyzing a problematic situation one cannot omit the time factor. Next, analytical forecasting studies are not effective, moreover, problematic situation cannot be controlled. Then, not everyone and not at any moment may undertake to solve the problem, and the last but not least, a decision-making process features continuity. (J.W.)
