Autorzy przedstawili zasady transportowej polityki rozwoju regionalnego rejonu tatrzańskiego w związku z możliwością organizowania tam igrzysk olimpijskich, kierując się zasadami ochrony środowiska i stosując instrumenty ograniczonej dostępności transportowej.

The project of organization of the Winter Olimpic Games in 2006 year in the region of Zakopane, Szczyrk, Krynica, Szczawnica demands to design transportation service system for this huge sport and cultural, in a part commercial event. Simultaneously according to International Olimpic Games Committee policy, solutions accepted for olimpic games period have to suit necessities after event what stands at front of organizators of that event and local council the task of strict cooperation. The thesis of the paper is the statement that both for necessities of each place in the after olimpic time and in the olimpic time it is indispensable to apply methods of turistic (and protected nature) area accessibility control with differences in these periods have to refer to methods of transport system management and traffic organization in each subsystem (road, traffic control, public transport, parking).(original abstract)
