On case of Zakopane it is described in the paper the existing technical solutions of railway taking into account binding standards of technical and performance requirements. In the second part of the paper, pointing at the necessity of rebuilding or modernization of existing cable railway, present systems and technical solutions of cable railway secure for efficiency and safety exploitation and comply with binding in this field requirements are presented. Some systems and technical solutions of cable railway compling with transportation requirements connected with Winter Olimpic Games in 2006 year are also described in the paper.(original abstract)
