W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję budowy nowej drogi na odcinku Myślenice-Naprawa, która mogłaby zastąpić dotychczasową "Zakopiankę". Studium techniczno-lokalizacyjne trasy opracowało w 1991 r. Biuro Rozwoju Krakowa.

The building of the Myślenice-Naprawa sector of the highway which is to be connecting Krakow-Warszawa-Chyżne is a difficult problem to resolve. The staking out of the road that would have high technical parameters appears really difficult due to big differences in the height of the ground, the present building area and the range of the areas ecologically protected. The choice will have to be made between the developping of the existing road in the valley of Raba and creating a new route crossing the mountains of Beskid Makowski. This latter route was the subject of the thorough research made in Cracow's Development Office in 1991. The results of this research are presented in the article above.(original abstract)
