Abstrakty

Wyjaśniono zagadnienie realnych cykli koniunkturalnych. Testowaniu hipotezy cyklu realnego poddane zostały miesięczne dane wskaźnika ogólnego klimatu koniunktury przemysłu przetwórczego Polski, ogólnego klimatu koniunktury przedsiębiorstw sektora publicznego, sektora prywatnego, małych, a także średnich przedsiębiorstw. Dane obejmują okres od czerwca 1992 r. do czerwca 1997 r. i zostały opublikowane w biuletynach GUS. Otrzymane dane poddano analizie harmonicznej i analizie spektralnej.

The test of unitary root makes it possible to detrmine a type of stationary time series, which is of fundamental significance for the procedure of preliminary whitening of the data in harmonic and spectral analysis. In this way we avoid "flooding" the spectrum by apparent, quasiperiodic fluctuations of the dynamic of economic processes. Real business cycles in Germany do not exceed a fiveyear period fluctuations. Fluctuations in the Polish business conditions, as a rule, do not exceed the period of three years. Lower frequencies are "obtained" by leaving the non-stationary component in the series or by eliminating the stationary component from the series. The spectrum of trendo-stationary processes reveals a clear shift towards low frequencies, whreas the spectrum of non-stationary component (incremental or trend) creates a white noise. The spectrum of dynamics of stock exchange quotations of some Polish companies shows that in this case we have to deal with chaotic dynamics. Results of the analysis of the scaled range make it possible to put forword a hypothesis as to existence of three-year natual business cycles on the capital market in Poland. In the case of fluctuations over a longer time in stock exchange quotations accidental roaming takes place. (original abstract)
