Autor omówił język komend Excela i opisał jego cechy wykorzystując model algorytmu pochodzący z matematyki dyskretnej.

Microsoft EXCEL can be considered as a smart aplication generator. Although is not devised to make standalone application, but thanks to its widespreading and popularity can senrve as an environment for evencommercial programming. This paper deals with EXCEL command languageand describes its features using model algorithm derived from discrete mathematics. The algorithm, written in Pascal - the classic tool of procedural programming - has been rewritten to make it working in the environment of EXCEL. The application built this way, has been enhanced with sofisticated user interface and hypertext help files. (original abstract)
