Abstrakty

Celem pracy jest diagnoza stanu i tendencji rozwojowych rynku komputerowego w Polsce. Autor w szczególności omawia: podstawy metodologiczne mierzenia i modelowania rynku komputerowego, wpływ uwarunkowań prawnych na kształtowanie się rynku komputerowego, ekonomiczne uwarunkowania popytu na tym rynku w ujęciu dynamicznym i przestrzennym, tendencje kształtowania się podmiotowej i przedmiotowej struktury podaży na analizowanym rynku. W konkluzji nakreśla scenariusze rozwoju rynku komputerowego.

In theme of this thesis is an analysis of the conditions for the development of the computer market and describing trends in this development. The main theses are: there are interdependencies between computer market demand, the economic development of a country and the standard of living of a society; conditions for demand differ spatially, which causes spatial differentiation of demand; in the computer market, because of fast technological progress and development and product differentiation, supply to a large extent stimulates demand. Furthermore, methods of research into the conditions for the creation of market phenomena and processes and research on the relationships between market notions and trends in their development are presented. In the period 1993-1998, the author observed regularities in activities of computer firms such as: turnovers of computer firms increased, large foreign computer firms entered the Polish market, there was a trend towards concentration of turnovers, employment increased, the efficiency of labour improved, the profitability of firms decreased in successive years, which indicates that the market "ripenes". The author of this thesis uses scenario research to present a prognosis of the development of the computer market in Poland until 2010. (original abstract)
