Abstrakty

Artykuł zawiera próbę aksjologicznego ujęcia globalizacji, klasyfikację pozytywów i negatywów globalizacji oraz ich charakterystykę. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na te społeczno-kulturowe, polityczne i ekonomiczne aspekty procesów globalizacji, które rzucają najwięcej światła na uwarunkowania rozwoju społecznego.

Globalisation is valued differently according to the criteria of profits and losses on the part of participants. Analysis of its advantages and disadvantages is strictly relative - globalization is perceived differently from distinct points on the globe. One can say that the poblem is simple: both the good and the bad have been 'globalized'. The spontaneous processes do make for delineation of good and bad aspects. We have to deal, however, not only with spontaneity but also with organized global actions that must be evaluated closely. In the relevant discourse, globalisation is described in varied languages, sometimes in a black and white forms of simple positives and negatives. If one does not explain the normative categories, an analysis of this phenomenon is poor and one can hardly understand the whole process. The author has made an attempt at juxtaposing on both sides positives and negatives, thus the article is a balance sheet of the former and the latter. (original abstract)
