Abstrakty
Przedstawiono założenia i cechy koncepcji TQM oraz podstawowe wymogi wynikające z założeń koncepcji TQM (wymagania dotyczące zachowań kierownictwa, ocena stanu kultury organizacji z punktu widzenia realizacji wymogów koncepcji TQM). Podkreślono, że zaletą koncepcji TQM jest jej otwartość na współdziałanie i przenikanie elementów innych koncepcji zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. TQM ma najsilniejsze związki z marketingiem i lean management.
The role of Total Quality Management System in company management consists primarily in simulating constant changes of qualitative character. A major advantage of TQM concept is its openness to collaboration and permeation of different company management concepts, and its fundamental idea of constant improving of processes and structures in the company creates splendid opportunities of using it. This concept has the strongest relationships with marketing and lean management. There exists a relationship between TQM concept and culture of the organization, which boils down to the fact that the introduction of TQM concept assumptions in the company involves carrying out major revaluations in the organization's culture while positive changes in the organization's culture imply, in turn, a desire of companies to adopt modern management concepts. The paper discusses also the most important consequences of TQM introduction from the viewpoint of changes in the company's management system and the organization's culture.(original abstract)
