Celem arykułu jest zaprezentowanie modelu przedsiębiorstwa innowacyjnego, którego twórcą jest profesor University of Brighton Dave Francis. Wyodrębnił on cztery grupy cech charakteryzujących przedsiębiorstwa innowacyjne: Przywództwo i strategia (Leadership & Strategy), Inspiracja i uczenie się (Inspiration & Learning), Organizacja i procesy (Organisation & Processes), Aktywa i umiejętności (Assets & Skills). Każda z grup składa się z pięciu elementów ściślej opisujących dane zagadnienie. Model ten ma służyć przedsiębiorcom jako pomoc przy analizie własnej innowacyjności.
It is above all the company's innovativeness understood as a whole philosophy of enterprising that decides about the powers and opportunities to develop a contemporary business. The article presents an outline of a new model of an innovative company analysis which has been designed by Dave Francis, a British scientist who researches the companies' innovation processes. This model isolates four groups of features that characterize innovative companies: Leadership and Strategy, Inspiration and Learning, Organization and Processes, Assets and Skills. Each of the above groups additionally consists of five elements which describe a pariticular point much more meticulously. The model is supposed to help business people carry an analysis of their own innovativeness. A cataloque of the above-mentioned features is a reference to the real situation that takes place in every organization. It will enable managers to hold an easier assessment of their own company and undertake appropriate actions to enlarge its competitiveness on the market. (original abstract)
